SkyFi: what it returns, and whether it works in Clay

SkyFi is not available in Clay. It is best for Content demo, Diligence. Pricing: Paid self-serve. Access: Self-service web app, mobile app and REST API; pay per order with no subscription or minimum spend required (per SkyFi); archive price per square kilometre and minimum area are returned per image; tasking priced per provider and resolution via POST /pricing; open data (Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2) free. SkyFi Pro: Individual Pro from $20 per month, Enterprise Pro from $500 per month (SkyFi site, October 2026) for higher rate limits and bulk ordering. Vantor imagery requires accepting the Vantor EULA..

What can you derive from it?

1. Site monitoring alerts: a notification filter over a facility AOI fires when any provider captures new imagery, giving a change-detection trigger without tasking. 2. Before and after change: order archive images bracketing an event (expansion, closure, flood). 3. Cost to observe: priceForOneSquareKm and minSqKm per image let you budget monitoring across a site list. 4. Coverage check: which providers and resolutions exist over a region, useful before promising imagery-based diligence.

How would a GTM team use it?

1. Diligence: price and order the cheapest sub-metre archive image over each target site in one API run. 2. PE screen: set notifications over portfolio sites and review new captures monthly. 3. Revenue trigger: use tasking over suspected expansions to confirm construction before outreach. 4. TAM build: use open Sentinel data through SkyFi to count large facilities in a region, then buy high-resolution only where needed.

What are the caveats?

Not a native Clay integration as of 2026-10-17 (checked against Clay's integrations catalog). Can be called through Clay's HTTP API column where an API exists. SkyFi is a marketplace, not an operator; availability and price depend on each provider's archive and licence. Imagery is not insight: counting or change detection needs analytics, which SkyFi sells separately. Cloud cover and off-nadir limit usability; captureTimestamp is the only time proof. Satellite shows change, not cause. No Clay provider offers imagery.
